This is it
Finally a sailing/battle/trade RPG on the high seas that is neither too shallow nor very complicated to learn.
Amazing amount of content for how little space it takes up.
Has a storyline but also free movement.
Even without cloud saving, it keeps your current progress.
Been looking for something like this since Bethesda's Pirates of the Caribbean, and here it is - of course not quite with its graphics, but for mobile it's fine.
