I really wish the hydroflask wide mouth bottles just came with a leakproof lid like this. I am not a fan of their stock lid for widemouth bottle- it is not leakproof and it's messy. It was worth the upgrade for something leakproof, but I'm not thrilled it was necessary. The design is pretty good : a screw-down flip top lid with a gasket. It's easy to open/close, works well for drinking hot and cold liquids and doesn't leak. I was initially surprised at how big the lid was- there's an extra hard plastic loop which increases the size pretty drastically, but it's functional in the sense that it provides a place for the lid to rest when open, and can be used as a hanging loop to attach the bottle to a backpack, etc. It also proved to be lower-profile than I first anticipated when unboxing it, as it fits just perfectly in a lunchbox.
