The two pillows came in vacuum bags and well packaged. Once released from vacuum and fluffed, the pillow can grow to about 4~5 inches thick (compare it with the water bottle in the photo #3). After sleeping (see photo #4), the feather inside will re-distribute, lowering in head area while supporting the neck. I would suggest not to stack this pillow with other pillow since this one is already thick enough.
