I was looking for a smaller steamer to replace the full-size Jiffy steamer. The Jiffy garment steamer is an excellent steamer and appears to be the gold standard of steamers. I am decluttering my house and want to get a steamer with at least the same performance as the Jiffy steamer in a smaller package. I read a lot of reviews on other steamers but decided to go with a name brand appliance. Although it was double the price of a similar steamer...nearly identical. I did not want to risk the quality and safety features of unknown brands. One of the features that I seek was the auto-shutoff feature. I have better peace of mind with an Electrolux product. The performance on the steam is better than the Jiffy J-2000. The steam is pumped out of the Electrolux steamer by a motor. I didn't know what the description meant by 'pump steam.' The steam output on the Electoux exceeded the Jiffy by volume and velocity from the pump. I am happy with this purchase. The Electrolux had big shoes to filled and it exceeded my expectations. I included a video of the Electrolux steamer on the bottom and the Jiffy steam on the top.
