I bought this skirt as a Christmas present for a pear-shaped 22-year-old, and it just barely covered the booty (other reviewers also said it was too short). So, I ALMOST gave this a bad review. HOWEVER, I was curious and tried it on myself (I am not booty-licious), and the skirt fell at a perfect length (see pic), so I guess I'll be inheriting a skirt. It is 16" long, if that's more hepful. I bought an XXL (Chinese sizing) and I usually wear U.S. size 11 (Juniors). Depending on your body type and accessorizing, narrow-hipped buyers could wear this skirt as a cute casual wardrobe addition for school or casual outings, while fuller-figured buyers could wear it as a seductive (naughty school-girl) costume or cosplay piece. I found this fabric to be soft instead of too cheap-feeling or shiny and stiff (see video), so maybe the manufacturer improved something since the time other reviewers posted comments about this. Another benefit: the skirt is lined, so it falls nicely over the body (as if you have a slip on underneath).
