Such a great product!!
I live in a first floor apartment. I used thick curtains to cover up the windows and preserve my privacy, unfortunately this turned my apartment into a bit of a dungeon. Needing more light I did a bit of research and discovered window films. I LOVE stained glass windows and decided these films would be perfect on the windows in my laundry room. The window consists of 6 small panes so I had to cut the sheet to fit each pane (it took 2 orders of the 24x36). I was very meticulous and it took quite a bit of my afternoon to make sure it was perfect but the final result is really stunning.
how to use in simple steps:
1. put a bit of soap and a lot of water onto a paper towel then clean off window.
2. wipe off with another paper towel soaked with water
3. dry with paper towels
4. measure dimensions and cut accordingly - scissors and a long ruler work, keep placing it up onto the window and trim wherever needed in case you have old oddly shaped windows like I do
5. spritz water and wipe evenly over entire glass surface so the whole thing is slightly damp
6. stick and readjust
7. use squeegee thing to get any bubbles (look at different angles of light or it won't be apparent)
I should add: make sure you pay attention to the pattern if you end up using more than one sheet and have weird cut outs so it flows seamlessly from one are to the next.
