Update! 11/7/2020 - My wife was involved in a serious auto accident. I won’t get into the specifics but she’s doing better but may never be 100%. The van had almost $4k in damage. This camera proved my wife was 100% not at fault. Nobody took it seriously until she pointed at her camera. Everyone changed their attitude, the cop, the other party and even his supervisor who arrived. Buy a dash cam, get one with WiFi file transfer to save you any headaches with file transfer. Original review; After being in an accident where the other driver told me “I don’t see any cameras so I’m telling the cops it was your fault” I now have dash cams in both cars. Not only are they good for capturing the incident they also can prove your car was stationary or the direction of travel etc. This one works pretty well and installs fast. We did need an extension cable for it to fit a Honda Odyssey. As you can see by my photo the unit is not flashy. It’s not all full of shiny metal or light colors. You can hardly tell it’s there when you look at it. I had a hard time getting a photo. This is good as I’m always worried someone will try and break into the car to steal the camera. Setup was easy and took maybe 10 minutes, install maybe 30 and it’s only because I took my time routing the cable. I’m happy with my purchase and would buy another if I needed to.
