So much better than anything I've found in any retail store. Inverter has a switch on it, USB outlets provide power even when inverter is off if the 12v in the car/boat/whatever is powered. If the inverter is on, the fan is on; much prefer the always-on fan to how many inverters only run the fan part time and you can never adequately drown it out with music. Unit is very solidly built with metal enclosure, 12v aux cord is also very solidly built, not the cheap/hollow feeling you get from most other units. Cord is long enough to stash under a seat or in the console if you have space, unit is very compact. Would buy again but this thing is so durable I probably won't have to. Already outperformed and outlasted any other inverter I've used in the past.
