I have no idea if it is doing anything for me as of now until I have lab work. As far as the taste I use a tsp measuring spoon and place it at the rear of my tongue and quickly swallow and drink my coffee immediately. I do not mind the taste and yes if you hold it on your tongue it does taste like a motor oil...Again, the trick is to put it on rear tongue and either swallow and drink a warm drink or hole in rear mouth and wash it down with you warm tea or coffee in my case.
