I purchased a medium in red and black in October, and just purchased a medium in black. I typically wear a medium in dresses, and these fit true to size. The black one I just received is longer than the red and black by about 4 inches. I have worn, washed, and dried the red and black several times since October, so that may be the reason; I am going to wash and dry the black today and will update this review if it shrinks. The black is also a little looser in the chest- I have to adjust it more to keep from showing my bra, and will probably pin it with a safety pin when I wear it out (if washing doesn’t help). They arrive quite wrinkled from being stuffed into bags during shipping, but the wrinkles release with washing and drying, and I have never had to iron the red and black before wearing, even after folding it in a suitcase for a day. These are great for petite women, even the longer black one doesn’t drag the ground, and I am 4 foot 11. For reference, my other measurements are 39-31-43, and I weigh about 140 lbs currently. These are great summer dresses- very lightweight material. In lighter colors, I would worry about being able to see underwear through them, but in the dark colors you cannot. The slit is the perfect height to show some leg without a wardrobe malfunction, and I love the sleeves- they are loose enough that they don’t make me hot. UPDATE AFTER WASHING The black dress definitely shrank a little from the washing/drying- blue circle photos are after washing, and it is now just a hair shorter than the red and black one. It also shrank up just a bit in the sleeve length and in the chest- sleeves are now the same length, and the chest doesn’t move as much and expose my bra. If it fits you out of the bag, be sure not to dry it. If it’s just a bit too big or long, pop it in the dryer on medium after washing.
