A friend brought his hammock on vacation this summer and told me to try it out. I liked it but wasn't willing to spend the kind of money he had spent on his. Besides, I already had an old cotton type hammock that my 6 year old granddaughter liked to get in with me. But we would always fall out of it. Or I was afraid it would break. When I received a coupon for a free gift from my work, I started looking into hammocks. There was one available, a brand I had not heard of, so I decided to research it on Amazon. That's when I found the Legit Double Hammock. I was impressed with the reviews, the cost, the life time warranty and the fact that I did not need to buy additional hardware to hang it. I immediately ordered it. I can't say enough about the great customer service. Tyler was corresponding with me even before I received the item. Shipping was super quick. The day I received it, I found 2 trees on my property and hung it up in less than 4 minutes. I wanted to use the hammock a few times before leaving a review. So here goes. I've used it at my summer place with my granddaughter and we loved it! She loved how it was so big that we could pull the sides together and "hide" from grandpa. And we never fell out of it. Hearing her giggles was well worth the price. This week I took it on vacation. There were no 2 trees close together to use it near our cabin. I had brought an extra rope and even then the distance was too great. That's when I noticed a huge rock near our cabin and a huge tree. I took the rope and wrapped it around the rock. Then I realized the tree was way too wide for the tree saver and rope to go around it. That's when I tried putting both of the tree savers with the ropes together and then wrapped it around the tree. It worked! When there is a will, there is a way. (See photos). So this week after hiking or kayaking, I'm able to come back and relax in my hammock near the fire. Very comfortable. Don't have any fears of it ripping or falling out. Easy to take down each night. Stores back in the attached bag. Put the hardware and tree savers in first. I love it!!! With another grandchild on the way, I'm looking forward to getting both my babies in this hammock for some fun filled memories. Highly recommend!
