Buying local pays off
I chose these specifically because not only are they an American company, but right in my own state.
If you make bread, from scratch or in a bread maker, adding a 1/4 cup of butter powder to the dough gives the bread a wonderful flavor. I make bread 2 to 4 times a week, and this is now a standard ingredient. I never make any type of bread without it (I sub 1/4 cup butter powder for 1/4 cup flour and haven't had to add any additional water, but I'd advise doing a little experimenting on your own recipes).
