We originally purchased a combination lock case, which lasted 2 uses then we couldn't get it opened, and was double the price of this one. Upon arrival I instantly fell in love with this case. Its heavy duty and durable. Its not heavy but it does weight 5lbs empty. I love the fact it has a key lock instead of a combination lock. The hinges are made of metal and are very durable. The corners are all reinforced with a heavy duty aluminum plates and the sides are aluminum as well. The inside of the case is very soft almost like a felt foam. The cubbies in the shelves are adjustable and even the ones in the bottom of the case. In one of the pictures I provided I took one of my sons Xbox 360 games, removed the insert and laid it open in the bottom of the case to show how much room you had in the bottom I chose to use that case because of the green color so you could get a better idea of just how spacious this case is. So whether you plan to use this case for make up or for items you don't want your children to see this case is amazing!!!
