Great color! I'm converted!
This henna is great. It covered my greys. This will be my third application. First one I did my whole head. I have naturally dark brown hair with about 30% silver/grey hair. My brown turned a nice Auburn color and they grey/silver was a copper. I'm doing a root touch up for the second time. It's been about 6 or 7 weeks and I'm in need! I do the roots and pick up the front pieces and cover those just so it blends. It turned out awesome last time. Great color and perfect blending. This time I am using hibiscus tea for a deeper red color. I added a couple cap fulls of apple cider vinegar and a tablespoon of coconut oil and a little clove essential oil to mask the smell. It smells better. I'll leave it to sit and color release over night and apply tomorrow.
Update: 1/18/16 This is the second time I used all over for color. I have done two root touch ups for my greys and thus product is great. I used a combination of chain tea and hibiscus tea with a cap full of apple cider vinegar and added a tablespoon of coconut oil and a couple of drops of cinnamon and clove essential oil. It was easier to rinse out. I did not use shampoo after rinsing, just conditioner and I turned out great! I probably have close to 40% grey and the coverage is excellent. This is my goal to product. You can see the length of my hair in the photo. I used two full boxes but had plenty left over and froze it in a zip lock bag and will use that for a root touch up later. I did that before and it's easy to just thaw it out at room temperature. Snip the corner of the bag and use it like that to apply onto the roots. Not nearly as messy.
