I am 28 years old. My husband & I have suffered two miscarriages during our relationship. We are not very open to others about this and was almost about to do an IUI fertility cycle. I work at an IVF clinic so believe me I have no reason to lead you on. Since last year we have been trying and I remembered once of my cousins had an unexpected pregnancy that she blamed on Geritol. I didn’t do much research, but older African American women swears it will get you pregnant (and maybe other elders, I’m AA though). I started taking them once a day in the morning on the very first day of my cycle. We had sex the day I ovulated and the day after. I got a positive pregnancy test the day my next cycle was supposed to start, now I am around 5 weeks. I am praying I don’t lose this baby, and I am confident I will not. I have done two blood test (results were great) & I have my ultrasound scheduled for next week. There is hope in trying with this pill. I was actually planning on trying with them about 3 months and then move on if it didn’t work, but here we are. Sorry so long, just wanted to share how I just took a shot at it. I took the test on March 2 night and March 3 morning. My first HCG was 178 and my second (after 48 hours) was 412 (I think, can’t remember the exact number). Update: I am 6 months pregnant, still going great
