For what I spent I got my money's worth. I can see the Orion Nebula, Jupiter and it's four moons and much more. I don't have it yet but I'd recommend you get the AstroMaster Accessory Kit. The telescope itself feels very well built. The tripod is a little iffy at times but it works well. The red-dot StarPointer is not the best and if you try your best to align it it will work alright but it's not the best so don't expect much from it. As a beginner scope or just someone who wants something to have a casual look into the night sky every now and then it will not disappoint !
