My wife and I got these for our honeymoon to Jamaica. They worked great for walking around waterfalls, snorkeling, etc. At first we were switching from our normal shoes to these whenever we got to water crossings on hikes, etc but eventually got lazy and just kept wearing these. While they don't provide much support, the rubber sole was heavy duty and protected my feet and I probably did 3 miles through rocky springs and dirt/gravel roads and they're undamaged. I expected them to fall apart at this price point but they survived all that and survived additional kayaking, etc since being home as well. The fit exactly as I expected, I bought the same size as other shoes I wear and was good to go. Lots of elastic to keep it tight but allow some tolerance on fit. We liked these so much we even bought additional pairs for both our moms for them to use as water shoes and both of them love them and use them all the time too. The patterns made it a fun gift for them. I'd definitely recommend these!
