IT'S GOT POWER!!!
The first thing I did was test it with my multi-meter and found that it generates power even in sunlight that isn't direct, but the most when the face of the cell is pointed directly at the sun. Unless the photocell is being constantly aimed directly at the sun you won't be getting the full power out of the device. For this reason to generate a more useful level of power I decided to order another one and hook it up in PARALLEL so together they will still generate 12V but at 10W.
This involved cutting and soldering and figuring out how to do it. It would be a welcome addition and a good selling point if the standard plug-in had the ability to also attach another solar cell to it, and so be able to increase the power generated to much greater levels, either by connecting them in SERIES (24V, 36V, 48V, etc.) or in PARALLEL (10W, 15W, 20W, etc.) or in SERIES-PARALLEL combinations as you wish.

Now I'm waiting for the other one to arrive and then plug it in to the first one with the special connection I made before I put them both inside a waterproof clear plastic container that gets attached to the top of my van. This would also be another valuable selling point, to offer a waterproof container for just such an installation. Since this is all wired back to the main battery I don't want any water to cause short-circuits! Safety First!
EDIT: (A few days later) Here's a picture of the first solar cell wired to accept the second solar cell in a parallel configuration. The first cell produces 125 ma and checking after the addition of the second the set of 2 cells produces 250 ma. That's 12 Volts at 10 Watts.
The connection as shown uses the color-coded wires showing their polarity and how a parallel configuration is made on the first cell to allow the second to plug in. You can carefully remove the insulation from the output leads with an x-acto knife without cutting the wires. The other wiring harness and the plug that accepts the second cell comes from the other connection furnished with the solar cell. Solder it then test it before you cover it with waterproofing. In the photo the solder has been covered with silicon rtv BEFORE being covered again by a split-plastic tubing filled with more silicone rtv to waterproof the connection. The plugs should also be covered in the final setup.
