Just got this rug today. Feels great underfoot-the synthetic fibers are MUCH softer than a wool rug & the sheen is gorgeous! You may have noticed some photos in other reviews where this color rug looks lighter and darker. I’d like to point out that this is due to the fiber type/pile cut. If you want it to look lighter, rotate the rug to where the lighter side faces the entrance to the room. If you prefer the darker tones, rotate to the darker looking side. I’ve taken photos of both directions to help explain. 👍🏼👍🏼 Overall great value for the $! UPDATE:this is being used in a family/play room-we have had it for over a year and a half. The sheen and softness it had is completely gone but it has hidden both stains and soiled spots very well. I’m impressed how well it has held up to children, pets & constant foot traffic! I would say you can easily get several years of use out of this rug in a high traffic area & I would purchase it again.
