Ok, here's the honest truth
I dont usually write reviews, but I thought I'd write about this seat. I'm 5' 9" 245 pounds. Almost ALL of these "small" seats just suck and hurt my rear end. Face it, a small seat is NOT going to be like sitting on a couch. So I tried the Selle Royal Men's Respiro Moderate MTB/Road Bicycle Saddle and the Planet Bike ARS seat before trying this one. Those two HURT. However, this seat hurt LESS than those two. I also have a couple of older Cloud 9 seats, but they are really large and pretty heavy. The cloud 9 IS comfortable, However, this seat doesn't look huge and it's a whole lot lighter than the cloud 9. If you are concerned with the LOOK of your bike, and want a decently comfortable seat, definitely get this seat / saddle. It's a really good compromise between size and comfort, and definitely affordable. I think that one reason that this seat is more comfortable is because the rear of the seat is angled upwards. My older cloud 9 seats are also angled upward at the back of the seat. I just bought a Trek FX 3 and I have an older Trek Mamba 29'er mountain bike. I will be using this Wittkop seat on both of them. However, I did just order the larger version of this seat just to see if it is even more comfortable. Since I'm just getting back into cycling, my butt has'nt "broken in" yet, and I think that I need more time in the saddle for my butt to get used to these seats. So, to summarize, this seat works fine for me. ALL small seats are not gonna be super comfortable, but this one seems to be the most comfortable of the ones I've tried, and at $29, it's a great deal.
