It's fine. True-to-size. Slightly overpriced. Fits well.
TLDR: Ultimately, I would not buy it again, as I don't like this type of fabric, but it looks fine and is quite comfortable. I just don't like fabric that doesn't have its own structure to it. It also won't work as the piece I was hoping it would replace, because of the cheaper fabric and weave. However, it fits nicely, so I can wear it for yard work, dog walks, and errands. If my better half randomly wanted us to grab dinner while grocery shopping, I would feel totally fine about walking into a casual restaurant in it. I've included my measurements and sizes at the bottom of my review for your reference. Fabric: Soft, heavy, and stretchy, but not super warm. The shape of the shirt depends entirely on your body. This is fine, I guess, but stinks if you get super bloated one day. The fabric is also clearly a cheaper fabric, even if it is soft and comfortable. I prefer feeling a bit more pulled together. This is one of the fabrics I refer to as a "Kohls Fabric." Definitely fast fashion. It doesn't even slightly resemble flannel, but the page doesn't claim it will, so that's fine. I paid $26.99 for it, and I feel like I slightly overpaid. It should be in the $18-$20 range. I feel like I'd buy it from Forever 21. Size: I got a medium. It fit exactly as I thought it would. It fit perfectly through the shoulder, and because of the straight and narrow cut of the body and the heaviness of the fabric, it appears fitted when on. It is the same width around the bust as it is around the waist, so my bust pulls the fabric forward and the weight of the fabric pulls the lines downward, creating a narrower waistline from the front. It is definitely long enough, but not too long. It may be too long for someone with a short torso, unless you're looking for something to cover your bum. If you have similar proportions to me, it should fit you nicely. As you can see in the pictures, it can bunch up above the bust if you move too much- another con from the fabric. Height: 5’10” Weight: 155 lbs Bust: 36” Waist: 29” Hips (where low hip huggers would hit): 40 Widest part of hips: 42” Inseam: 29” Shirt: 4 or 6, S or M (depends on brand and clothing article) Blazer: 6 ( I am somewhat broad-shouldered, but not noticeably so.) Pants: 6 if low-waisted, 4 if high-waisted (esp. if wide legged) Skirt: 4 Shoe: 10W (On the wider side of wide) Notes: - I carry any extra weight in my thighs and upper arms. Normally, my waist is a small 4, while my butt is a 6 and my thighs are a little closer to an 8 than a 6. I have yet to find a store that makes pants that fit me everywhere. All pants either fall or ride down on me. - Similarly, since my shoulders are somewhat broad and my bust/ribcage wider than average for a waist of my size, shirts tend to look boxy and baggy on me unless they have severe darting/tailoring or are cut straight and narrowly down the torso. - My height is entirely in my torso. It’s quite long. I've had exactly one jumper not give me a front wedgie in over 30 years of living. I nearly cried.
