I am lazy and don't like unscrewing the toothpaste tube. Also sometimes the cap falls off the counter and rolls next to the toilet and now I have to burn it. These squeeze caps make it so that I don't need to unscrew the tube! You have to squeeze harder than you normally would, and the toothpaste comes out more as a flat noodle than a traditional tube, but these are a small price to pay for never having to bend down and find a cap behind the toilet. -- UPDATE: I bought my caps for $7 total. I see they've now increased the price to almost double. It's waaay overpriced at that price point. If you can find a cheaper version, I'd recommend that. But it's still cool and I still haven't lost a toothpaste cap behind the toilet ever since I got this!
