My podiatrist gave me a prescription for 2 of these for plantar fasciitis on both feet. My insurance would only cover one since they are reversible, so instead of paying $110 through medical supply I ordered this. I now wish I would have just ordered 2 of these. It beats out the insurance covered one by a landslide... -It has black padding so it doesnt get noticeably dirty. -The padding is thick and cushiony. -It isnt big, clunky and uncomfortable on your leg. -Easy to walk around on if you need to get up in the middle of the night, has good no-slip on the bottom. -The absolute BEST difference to me is that it has clips so you dont need to adjust the velcro every time you use it. Set the velcro once and then clip on and off. I really think I'm going to purchase another one of these because it greatly outperforms the other from the medical supply. I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing plantar fasciitis night splints.
