I researched and researched and researched prior to purchasing this headboard. I love the look of tufted headboards, but since I think they're sort of trendy I just couldn't validate spending a lot of money on them. I couldn't be happier with this headboard. It's just gorgeous and gives our bedroom the look of an upscale hotel at a fantastic price. I purchased a bed skirt in a similar color and the combination is perfect. It was very easy to connect to our metal bed frame and we adjusted the height to accommodate our memory foam mattress. It can also be installed on your wall for a fixed, more sturdy placement. It's certainly not an heirloom piece of furniture that you'll pass down to your children, but it's a very inexpensive option to what's available at local furniture stores.
