Priva III....Great Bluetooth Transmitter
This is a review for the Avantree Priva III. I also compare it to the Priva II. Last year I purchased the Avantree Priva II along with the Avantree Audition Pro headphones, both are aptX low latency. They worked so well together that my wife wanted the same setup for 'her' TV. So now I own two of each :). There is no audio lag, and the audio quality is very good. The Audition Pro headphones are light weight and very comfortable. I recently got the new Priva III. I bought it because I didn't need a battery as it's always connected to my TV. Plus, I liked the idea of an on/off switch. The on/off switch makes it convenient to switch the headphone audio source from Priva III/TV to iPhone and vice versa. Yes, I could do the same with the Priva II by simply unplugging the power source. But, the Priva III's switch just makes it easier. As much as I like my Priva II, the Priva III is even better. Here is a summary: - Priva III has more volume than Priva II when connected with my Audition Pro headphones (i.e. it can go even louder than Priva II). - Priva III has much better bluetooth range than Priva II. I never lose connection no matter where I am in my house upstairs or downstairs. - Both Priva III and Priva II have very good audio quality. No lag with either as long as you're using with aptX low latency headphones (like the Audition Pro headphone). - Priva III on/off switch makes it easy to change to a different audio source while still keeping my Audition Pro headphones turned on (i.e. from Priva III/TV to iPhone). - Priva III weighs less since no battery. Priva II has battery. - Priva III black, Priva II white. For me, black looks better behind my TV.
