Grass-fed Gelatin? Yes, please.
I spent a decade as a vegan and turned to wild game and grass-fed/pastured meats a decade ago. That puts an awfully long distance between me and the junk food Jello that I loved when I was a kid. Obviously there are vegan substitutions, but they're no healthier than the boxed stuff of my childhood. Enter Great Lakes gelatin. Made from grass-fed beef, albeit from New Zealand and Australia. Excellent. Not only is jello super easy to make with this, it's healthy. It's easy to associate gelatin with junk food since that's where it gets used, but this is straight collagen. Organic unsweetened juice and this gelatin are all it takes to make the world's greatest knee repair tonic. And it's straight out of your childhood. I wish there was a version that wasn't imported, but being someone who actually works with grass-fed beef farmers and butchers, I've tried to get this made regionally and it's not happening. This is not your worst back up plan.
