I was a skeptic, but no more. I am a 64 yo female and I live in the dry as a bone SW desert. Since moving here 3 yrs ago my skin has become increasingly DRY especially around the mouth and nose. I was never dry before, but I think it is a consequence of the environment AND changes in hormones. I have been a Clinique skincare user all my life and with good results. I am sensitive to fragrance and LOTS of skin products. For the past 13 years I have used a Sonicare 1 or 2x per week. I consulted a dermatology office and had dermaplaning done. They recommended Elta MD hydrating moisturizer which is a petroleum based product which I don't care for (feels greasy). It helped some but did not solve the problem. I also started using a silk pillow cover as I am a side sleeper. I started looking at self help remedies and found this oil. It has been about 3 to 4 weeks of continued use morning and night. What an amazing turn around. I still apply Clinique Moisture Surge on freshly washed skin, and then I apply the rosehip oil. I avoid the eyes but apply everywhere else and on the neck. Usually my eyes react and I get stuffy when I try a new product ... not this stuff. I had NO reaction to the product or smell which is a miracle in itself. The smell is very light and dissipates once on. Sometimes I apply more in around the nose and mouth. I have not had a single breakout since using this product as I have with other products including the Elta MD. As compared to other skincare products, rosehips oil is a great value. My only negative comment has to do with the color which is marigold yellow and I can tell when I first put it on but it seems to go away once it is absorbed. I highly recommend!!!!
