I bought this to store my rings. A little confession here, I travel a lot and like to collect artist made jewlery so really needed to be able to see the rings instead of trying to remember which box what I wanted was in. It is lightweight with enough space to store even rings with a fairly high profile. I like it so much I plan to get one for my sister for Christmas this year. Sturdiness got 4 stars only because my things all get gentle use and no one handles this case but me. Your situation might be different but I think it will easily handle normal use for a very long time. If you have a lot of rings you will most likely be happy with this for their storage!
