After one 150-pill bottle, some improvement
I've had tinnitus for most of my adult life, and it started to get really bad over the last seven or eight years. Both of my ears have it, the left being much more intense than the right, and both with a different pitch - when I'm out and about in public I don't notice it much most of the time, and I've learned to live with it, but there are some times where the ringing has been very intrusive, and the two different tones don't help at all. I just moved to a rural area from a big city and have been worried that at night, the ringing would be unbearable. I finished one 150-pill bottle of Lipo-Flavonoid a week ago and am happy to say that there has been some improvement. Within a few days of starting to take it, the pitch in my left ear suddenly dropped to a lower tone; while the volume itself didn't decrease initially, the lower pitch is MUCH easier to deal with and I notice it less, even at night. Over the last month and a half, the tone has changed a couple times; it's gone back up a bit, then back down, where it seems to have settled for now. The volume is generally lower, I'd say that most of the time it's 25-50% what it was before I started taking it, though there are some times where it can come roaring back. There have been maybe a half dozen times were all of a sudden, I realize that the ringing is almost totally gone; usually for a half an hour to hour, but in one case it lasted a few hours before I went to bed, then was back in the morning. The ringing in my right ear got quieter after about a week, and by the time the bottle was done, is barely noticeable. I decided to not take it for a week to see if the improvements went away; my right ear is still really good, I'd say 10-20% what it was before, and only noticeable if I cup my ear in a quiet room. My left ear is still better, but I'd say that it's maybe 50% what it was originally, and the pitch has been a little higher these last two days, so it's more noticeable. Overall, I'm happy with the $30 I spent - I was prepared for it to have no effect since I've tried a number of different treatments, all of which either didn't work, or worked for a day or two and then nothing. I'm going to go for another 150 pills to see if it improves further, and will update my experience here. My advice to anyone suffering from tinnitus is, while seeking treatment, to focus your energy as much as possible into other things and try not to think too much about the condition. Yes, it's terrible - since my mid 20's I've had to go "huh?" and tilt my head so my ear is pointing straight at the person talking so many times, I've missed punchlines in jokes, misheard or totally missed important things - but thankfully, you can still hear; I can still walk, run, move, etc, can still play guitar, can still work and run a business. In the grand scheme of things, as far as afflictions go, this one is much less of a hinderance than others. Keep the faith, stay strong, and work for a better tomorrow.
