These panties changed my life, for real
I feel like these panties have changed my life. No, really. TLDR: they're well made, comfortable, breathable, cute, fit like a dream, and are a good value. I used to wear low-rise hipster or boy brief style cotton panties from big name, mainstream retailers found in your local mall, but after my C section 9 months ago, I had to wear high-waist compression panties during my recovery to help my incision heal and remind my organs where they used to go before there was a baby. Now that I'm more or less back to my pre-baby size and shape, the compression panties I'd been wearing no longer fit and I found my old underwear too uncomfortable to bear. Y'all, I didn't realize how much of my time I used to spend unconsciously worrying about my underwear while I was wearing it! Every brand I'd ever worn before had been one kind of uncomfortable or another. I'm curvy, so I'm really not meant to wear low-rise panties. They just don't have the ability to sit comfortably on my body and stay put. Full coverage, high-waisted, cotton underwear, on the other hand, was always absolutely grandmotherly, so I always felt awkward wearing them even though they technically fit. I also never had luck finding "granny panties" that were well made. They were always cheap, thin cotton with crappy, cumbersome elastic that announced its presence loudly under all but the thickest of pants and skirts. These panties are everything that I want and nothing that I don't. They're cute and don't show under my leggings. they're nice and stretchy to allow adjustability in fit, but not to the point of getting a mind of their own. They hug my curves nicely and stay put once they're in place. The quality of the material is very good, and the piecing and stitching are excellent (I'm a hobby seamstress, so I'm always critical of mass manufactured textile products). And at essentially $5 a pair, these are affordable and practical. Can you buy less expensive panties? Sure, but they're going to be poor quality and fit. These are in the same price range as major mall retailers' cotton panties, and they are much more comfortable. Just buy them. Seriously, I wish I'd been wearing these for a decade at least. I can't imagine what I could have accomplished if I hadn't spent been using my finite focus capacity to subconsciously stressing about and adjusting my panties for my entire adult life. And I'm really only half joking.
