Update: still wearing these shorts and are still holding up well after a gazillion washes :) Hands down, my favorite shorts I have ever owned. When you first put them on, they are a bit snug on the hips, but after a few minutes, seems to adjust well. These shorts are a great length; I’m a mom, but still enjoy shorter shorts :) . They do not grab your thighs and the side slit is a nice detail. The washed color was exactly what I was looking for in shorts. I typically wear a size ten (“small” waist but large hips). Very comfortable and they have held up well. The material is jean but with some stretch.
