I had been buying whatever I could find on sale aka the cheapest food for my cats until one of my cats had gotten sick. She had very low potassium amongst other health issues. My husband and I spent over an hour in the pet store googling nutrition and reading labels. We learned a lot about proteins, calories, potassium etc. Blue Wilderness was the best out of all of them. While her issues weren't based off of nutrition we did everything we could between meds and food to make her well but sadly just after Xmas we had to let her go. I still continue to buy this brand for my 3 cats. I grew up in a time where 9 lives or Friskies was about the only thing you could get and just continued with that until I opened my eyes. The pieces are small and round and easy to eat. They have so far loved all the flavors which we have tried duck, salmon, rabbit and chicken so far. Even though it is an expensive price for the bag, I feel better knowing that I am giving my babies, in my opinion, the best food available. As a pet owner we are responsible for the health of our pets and owe it to them to give treat them as we treat and feed ourselves. We need them as much as they need us.
