For me the AirPods Pro will not stay in my ear without these little jewels. The only issue is having to remove them to charge. Then I found the X-ray of the case and decided to take the chance with a Dremel and cut holes in lid of case to allow AirPods to fit in case with these rubber wings on them. Worked out great after adding cut outs and shaving inside of lid also to allow perfect fit. Attaching several pictures for the brave. I much prefer function over a nice looking case. Hope this helps someone.
