I absolutely love Gellen gel polish. I’ve bought a bunch of the sets and feel like I need need more! I only just got into the whole gel thing initially thinking it was too much. But the better I got at doing my nails and the more time and effort I put into them the more annoying it was for my manicure to start getting scratched and chipped with regular polish. Even after a day there would be scratches and color changes. Not cool. Gel polish is a whole other story. It looks perfect for a long time. It lasts longer than I even want to keep the manicure as I get bored and want to move on after a week and a half or so. Gellen is great quality, there’s no bubbling peeling or other weird happenings. Those that are having issues need to follow the directions. You have to file, buff, and clean your nails. You can’t leave any gel touching your skin. I like to clean up any mistakes with a French manicure brush and acetone. The very first time I did my nails this way with Gellen they came out perfect. Take the time and do it right. All that being said the sapphire emerald kit comes with some really great colors. I thought that one of the colors was black but it’s actually a deep dark maroon or something so that was the only let down. It’s still a pretty color.
