At first, I was a little hesitant about buying wireless battery operated cameras but a friend recommended Blink. I but the bullet and ordered a couple cameras and I’m very impressed with these cameras. The install out of the box was simple. I downloaded the app and it walked me through installing the WiFi and each camera was setup in less than 10 minutes. I ordered separate blink camera holders that I mounted to my house and it’s solid. The good thing about a wireless camera allows you to mount these cameras anywhere. Just like most cameras, it is important you don’t place these cameras in place in front of tree or shrub due to setting off the motion sensor all day when blows. The good thing about these cameras is that when it senses motion, it automatically starts recording instantly, as it comes with free memory storage to store film until space is needed. The camera quality is very good, plus you can talk through the camera and talk and capture audio. I added 1 additional camera after purchasing the first 2 and it’s the bomb. Keep in mind, when purchasing these cameras, you need to purchase the blink hub that allows you run up to 10 cameras at a time. The hub is like the brain of the system. I’ve not had any connection issues and I have 1 camera approximately 40 yards from my router. The night vision is pretty good. Depending The the lighting you may have a depth perception issue and seeing far away but for the most part the night vision is just as good as the day time. So far after 3 months I’ve not had any battery issues but I’ll be back to update further down the road.
