This is by far the most useful thing I've bought in so long. My mother is a hospice patient and chomping Sonic ice is sometimes the only thing that she can handle on her stomach. I was driving a half hour each way, several times a week with a cooler and losing half of it on the way home. And sometimes they wouldn't even have any... It was frustrating, to say the least. But I did it out of love. When I found this, a prayer was answered. It can be kept in her room because there is no water hookup required. It is quiet. It couldn't be easier to use. And it's exactly the same ice as at Sonic. To see her smile, everytime, is worth everything.
