One of the best in its class
This product is a real find, especially for those already tuned into the so called "super green" foods, and are always on the search for the best of class product. I have used the super greens for many years and have been fortunate enough to work with a nutritionist skilled in the art of Applied Kinesiology (muscle testing). A good kinesiologist is worth their weight in gold for determining the efficacy of one product vs another by testing the product's overall energy signature.
For years testing always placed a product called "Barley Green" head and shoulders above all competitors we tested. A few months ago, and to my great surprise, we found a new super green product that actually tested slightly better than Barley Green. It is called Vita-Barley (made by Vitabase), and is even a bit cheaper than Barley Green. However, more recently we came across this Garden Life Perfect Food product. This product tested noticeably higher than the two aforementioned products. Furthermore, it appears that Perfect Food has a broader spectrum of nutrients, costs less than the other two, and is therefore a strong contender for first place in what is now a healthy array of choices in this awesome super greens category. We are lucky to have such choices!
[A quick anecdote for those wondering about the value of Applied Kinesiology: A few years ago the kinesiology rating for Barley Green suddenly dropped sharply in our periodic testing. Unbeknownst to my nutritionist the product had been sold to a company called AIM, who altered the formula. We learned of this only after the poor test results. The creator of Barley Green, Dr. Hagiwara, ultimately bought the company back and reverted to the original, albeit more costly, processing technique. Once again Barley Green tested tops in its class.]
