I’m not in love with it, but for the amount I wanted to spend right now it should work fine. I can keep it on my dresser and find the ring(s) I want to wear that day as opposed to digging through my jewelry box. Not sure what it’s made of but it’s very lightweight so not wood. It has a smooth black surface and two metal clasps to keep it securely closed. The glass lid is nice, that’s going to be fun keeping it clean all the time. Nice to be able to see my rings without opening the top all the time. I like that. I don’t know about using it for travel though, but then again I wouldn’t want to travel with all my rings anyway Rings are my choice for jewelry more than other things like bracelets etc, so I’m glad I finally got myself something to keep them all nicely organized. Left hand rings on the left side, and so on. I’ll let my daughters buy me a real fancy wood one in the future, but for now this work great. Only took off one star as I don’t think it’s real pretty or anything.
