Wonderfully quiet in a very quiet neighborhood. Replaced chain drive. Easily controlled over the internet and I get emails too when opened of closed. I don't have a smartphone, just an iPad (wifi only) and a computer. One GOTCHA!! though. I didn't read the fine print about the type of lightbulbs not to use and put in 26W LED bulbs. I could barely open it from the driveway outside the door!! I had to go back and search the manual for something to do with the range and found the fine print (and it's all fine print) that says using LED bulbs affect or reduce the range of the remotes.
