I bought this petrified and intrigued, I had read bad reviews, but loved the idea. I had my hair stylist on standby for when I ripped out chunks of my hair- like reviewers promised. I believe in Conair Infinity Pro products (LOVELOVELOVE my Spin Brush), so I blew $100 on a chance. AND I LOVE THIS MACHINE. I read the directions! Weird! I have thick, colored/damaged hair mid-length down my back, I did my entire head in 30 minutes, first time, and my hair was not pulled once. It's not hard, girls! Keep the control buttons towards your head. And for those saying that larger sections were rejected- try try again. Don't put it so close to your head, I tried the same thing again and most of the time it worked, if not I moved it 3mm from the roots and blam, it worked. Another 'secret'- just because it beeps that it's not accepting the strand; it's still in the chamber, it's still curling. Wait a few seconds, it curls, whether it likes it or not... My hair looks great! It's actually ridiculous! It's curled, it feels healthy and soft. It's been over an hour since I did it and it looks exactly the same, no hair spray. Honestly, don't be afraid to try it, it's intimidating, but it's really a fun and awesome experience! My hair looks fantastic.
