I’m popping off RN. I don’t buy new things often but since I live in comfy pants working at home these days but I decided to invest in some new “work clothes” for the winter. Without going into all the details, I’ve found that other retailers prioritized the quality of clothing for men, by A LOT, while charging more for the women’s clothing. I thought that might’ve been an isolated event and it’s been Almost 10 years (Like I said, I don’t buy comfy pants often and I usually just wear leggings but it’s getting cold now) so I honestly thought things would be different now. Long story short? DO NOT BUY THE WOMENS VERSION OF THESE COMFIES. Here’s why. The men’s version is thicker, longer and warmer, just size down. The men’s version has better, stronger pockets with a ZIPPER on both sides. The back pocket is the same Sherpa lining on the men’s but the women’s is just a basic Cotton pocket. Don’t get me started on the drawstrings... the men’s drawstring ends are wrapped with a knot so it’s harder for them to come out AND they have two little leather patches as an extra precautionary measure to prevent the drawstring from coming out. The women’s version has a smooth plastic cap so if you forget to double knot it before washing, say goodbye to your closure. So you’re probably assuming with all those extras, surely the men’s pants are more expensive. NO!!! They’re CHEAPER!! Same brand!! Same everything except for how much more awesome they are. I hate it here. Save your money, buy the men’s joggers, ladies and live a happier life.
