I wanted to support JOLLY - and purchased this book after watching the YouTube video. Little did I know that this novel, this bastion of literary genius, would rank amongst the best of the written word that I have ever owned. Nay - that has ever been put to paper. The story flows like a river, sometimes gentle, skipping over polished stones, sometimes torrid, a massive flood of awe and wonder. I was moved to tears, ached with laughter, and deeply touched by the man-bond between Josh and Ollie. I anticipate that years from now, my progeny will cherish this novel, well-worn by years of re-reading, and engage in yearly pilgrimages to Carrotland. (NOTE: I haven't received the book yet, but I can't imagine my review changing much....).
