We really love this microscope. My daughter is 9 and we want to encourage her to appreciate science. We love all the slides that comes with it. We really dove in and checked them all out at once! Additional “glass” slides and plates are for testing other things as well. Droppers and additional tools for storage, or picking small items up. Already assembled, just plug in, insert slide, and find the appropriate zoom and lighting. It does take a bit of patience to find the perfect settings, but this is what is great for kids! When it comes in clear it’s pretty darn cool! 😎 The microscope can be placed back in the styrofoam for protection, and then in the duffel bag. This I don’t totally get? I’m more of a box type for storage, the bag is a bit odd. We will be leaving ours out so it gets used, so this is not a big deal to us. Definitely recommend! ***please let me know this was helpful!
