Honestly? I think all the naysayers that made this out to be a bad movie are just haters and looking to jump on the bandwagon to see DC movies fail. Yes...it's not the perfect movie compared to some other amazing superhero movies BUT it's still a great adventure romp. For me, as a lover of both Marvel and DC comics all my life, this was just as epic as the Avengers in that I was seeing these amazing heroes come to life. The idea that it was a jumble of Snyder/Whedon and that it was a Frankenmovie... I just don't get it. The team dynamic and little moments were good to me (especially considering that there was not a lot of universe building ala Marvel - which you cannot and should not compare it to). I do feel like they powered down Wonder Woman versus the power she ultimately built up to in her own movie. That being said, I still dug it quite a bit. Steppenwolf CGI is not the best I could have hoped for (Earth 2 version would have looked cooler). So that kind of sucked. Cutting the running time down to finish under 2 hours kind of sucks too and I wish we also would have had a pay off from the scenes in Batman v. Superman but alas. Again, not the perfect super hero movie but considering all the second guessing and whatnot, it is something the average movie goer that enjoys these types of movies will enjoy. The nitpicker micro analyzers have killed the joy of it all and that's a shame. Check the critiques at the door, get your popcorn, turn up the sound and enjoy.
