Deep blacks and beautiful colors. I got this for writing code and occasionally watching videos. The higher resolution is great on 27" and larger, as text seems more solid, and the darker backgrounds are easier on my eyes. Some high quality 1080p monitors can do the same thing, but this is a step up that I recommend. The color range is better than what I'm used to, even from my 4K TV. I was using my TV to code, because it was sharp and had good colors, but this spoiled me for generic low end monitors. My eyes are happy with this choice. As for gaming I have not tried it yet. The only reason I took off a star is that: - no height adjustment - stand takes up a lot of space, because the pole is at an angle. - FreeSync should really be over 120hz, 75hz is barely worthwhile.
