A Dry Place for My Outdoor Cushions
Take this review seriously! I am going to cover all the concerns you should have. I took a long time making my decision on this one and (perhaps with a bit of luck) chose correctly. My concerns were size/space, sturdiness, and weatherproof.
First let me say this thing does it job, and does it well. The shed is in its worst possible location at my house. I have an open field next to my house with nothing to stop the elements; in particular heavy rains and crazy winds. It has held up great. I bought this shed, specifically, to house my outdoor furniture cushions. Freaking cushions are expensive (if you buy quality) so I wanted a dry protected spot to hold them. This has done the trick.
I took some pictures to illustrate its virtual waterproofedness. I went out after a quite rough storm to get some worst case scenario pics for you guys. You can see on a couple there is some water beneath the doors but because the inside floor of the unit is raised up, no water was able to get in. On the waterproof front this thing gets its five stars.
Assembly was ludicrously easy. You may want an extra pair of hands to simplify the process, but it is not necessary. Everything is plastic which made me nervous. But everything locks together very well, nothing needs to be screwed or drilled. I would say the whole thing went together in about twenty minutes. I was really impressed with the ingenuity of the engineer who designed this thing.
I added a little carabineer to hold the top down during the high winds where I live, but most people probably need not bother. To access the inside you just lift the top a bit and open the two doors. No knobs or switches.
It is a bit spendy, but if your goal is to have a little bit of extra storage away from the rain then this guy will do the job.
