I am 82 years old and on the frail side so most everything is heavy for me so this blanket is heavy for me. I do love the softness, color and warmth is provides me. I have to sleep on my sofa as all my mattresses are too hard and the pressure on shoulders and hips is bad so I got this blanket to try to fit it on my sofa. It is longer then I'd like but it is hard to find a warm blanket that is smaller with all the comforts I want. All in all I do love the blanket. It washes beautifully also.
