This thing is pretty tight! I use mine for storing, uh, particularly pungent matter, and want to keep it, well, hidden! You HAVE to use the button on the side of the lid to get it off, and you HAVE to use the button on the lid to close it. Once it's closed, it's perfectly scent-free. It will hold a 4" glass pipe, lighter, 2-3 ounces of, uh, plant matter and a small aluminum grinder.
