Been using this since it arrived in November 2014, so after 3 years of use I think its time for a review. Put this on a newer door that already had a deadbolt, so installation went easily. I set the automatic feature to lock itself after 30 seconds. For those of us that live in a 4 season zone, know our doors and windows open and close differently according to outside temperatures. I've had to make some minor adjustments here and there during different seasons, but nothing major. It will sound an 'alarm' so to speak when the lock is not fully engaged. Some reviewers complain about that but, our house having been burglarized, I think this is a great feature. If your door opens differently according to outside temperatures, plan on doing a little minor shaving and chiseling here and there and keep a key within outside reach for a year or so until it works perfectly, like mine does now. I also discovered the perfect batteries for this. They are sold here on Amazon. Quite by accident I put the 3.7v 14500 2000mah rechargeable Lithium batteries in the power pack one day. What a difference! It no longer sounds and moves like its battery powered. Now, with these batteries, it moves and sounds like it an electric lock. Long story short, after seasonal adjustments to make sure the lock properly engages in all temperatures, and with the upgraded batteries, 3 years without a key!
