Absolutely fantastic French press! I’ve gone through a couple of glass ones, and decided to try this baby out. We LOVE it. Does NOT hold 51 oz of coffee though. I’ve attached pics to show. The max fill line is at 45 oz, and that’s just barely below the bottom of the spout, so you can’t really squeeze any extra water even if you wanted to. This press holds just over 8 cups from a regular sized coffee pot. It fills my husband’s 1L Stanley thermos, and a regular sized coffee cup also. It also keeps coffee hot for at least 2 hours. :)
